Our team

InkFlow RIP is the Midrand team behind the board work, RIP setup and colour control that keep wide-format inkjet printers running neatly. We work with print shops and production rooms across South Africa, from Johannesburg and Pretoria to Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

The people behind the print room work

The team here handles the parts of wide-format printing that need steady hands and clear thinking: printer control boards, printhead driver setup, RIP configuration, colour profiles, queue flow and fault finding. A job can start with a printer that has drifted off colour or a board that is not reading a head correctly, and finish with a cleaner production line and fewer stops during the day. Midrand is our base, but much of the work is done remotely for shops in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

There is a mix of repair bench work and production support in the team, so the advice is practical and tied to what happens on real machines. Coastal humidity in Durban, dust on busy Gauteng floors, or a long queue of repeat jobs each asks for a slightly different setup, and the team keeps that in view.

Thabo Zungu leads the day-to-day decisions

Thabo Zungu oversees the team and keeps the work aligned to the needs of print shops, graphic designers and production facilities. He handles the bigger job planning, makes sure the right person is on the right fault, and checks that board work, RIP settings and training line up with how the printer is used on site. His role is part technical, part practical coordination, especially when several machines need attention at once.

He also keeps an eye on how the business supports operators who need a straight answer rather than a long explanation. That includes matching the setup to the printer model, the media being used and the way the shop runs its daily queue.

Operations and support that keep jobs moving

Lerato Khoza manages operations, which covers scheduling, job flow and making sure the right parts of a support request reach the right technician. She works with the team on everything from board repairs to backup and recovery, and helps keep the admin side tidy when a print room is dealing with multiple machines, operator handovers or urgent reconfiguration.

Aiden Phiri leads remote support and spends much of his time solving issues without needing to be on site. He works through setup checks, queue problems, driver communication and remote recovery steps, and he is often the link between the operator and the technician. In shops that run long production days, that clear remote guidance can save a lot of chasing around.

  • Remote setup for RIP software and print queues
  • Fault tracing for board communication and driver issues
  • Backup checks for settings, profiles and job presets

Colour control and RIP tuning for real production

Zanele Moagi works on colour workflow, profiling and print consistency. Her work covers colour profile setup, print condition checks and making sure the RIP behaves properly across different media types and production needs. If a shop is dealing with shifting colour, grainy solids or profiles that do not suit the printer’s current output, she brings the process into line.

Johan Letsoalo handles senior RIP technician work, including installation, queue workflow design and production tuning. He looks at how jobs are nested, where queues slow down, and how RIP settings affect output speed and accuracy. The aim is not flashy settings, just a print room that works in a cleaner sequence with less waste and fewer reprints.

Board repair and practical operator training

Kagiso Pienaar repairs control boards and checks the hardware side of the system when a printer is not reading, driving or communicating as it should. He works through symptoms carefully, because a board fault can look like a software issue at first glance. His work is important for shops that need stable day-to-day production rather than short term patching.

Bianca Rademeyer handles client training and helps operators understand the basics of the RIP, printhead driver setup and daily maintenance. She keeps the training practical: how to load a job, how to check a queue, how to spot profile mistakes, and how to avoid small errors that turn into wasted media. Her sessions suit new operators and experienced staff who need a cleaner process on the floor.

How the team works across South Africa

The base in Midrand gives the team a central point for Gauteng work, while remote support reaches print shops across the country. The same core skills are used across the branches and support areas, but the approach shifts with the job. A shop in East Rand may need board testing and queue control, while a Cape Town operator may need colour correction after media or humidity changes.

Across Johannesburg Support, Pretoria Support, Durban Support, Cape Town Support, Bloemfontein Support, East Rand Support and West Rand Support, the team keeps the work tied to one standard: printers should run cleaner, the colour should hold, and the operator should have a setup that is easier to manage. That is the kind of support the team is built around.
