Careers

Working here means supporting wide-format inkjet production where colour accuracy, board stability and clean workflow matter every day. Our team in Midrand works with print shops across South Africa, from Johannesburg and Pretoria to Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

The kind of work people join us for

We hire for technical, operational and client-facing roles linked to printer control boards, RIP software, printhead driver setup, colour profiles and production support. The work suits people who can read a print problem carefully, keep notes straight, and stay calm when a queue needs attention before a busy run on coated media.

Some days call for hands-on fault finding at board level, other days need profile checks, remote setup, or helping an operator understand nesting and job flow. Midrand is our base, but the work reaches Gauteng and beyond, with many of our support calls tied to the pace of real print floors in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

Roles that fit the way we work

Our team includes people who handle colour, hardware, training and support. New hires may grow into one of these areas, depending on skill and experience.

  • RIP and colour workflow support for wide-format inkjet jobs
  • Control board installation and board repair work
  • Printhead driver setup and fault finding
  • Remote support for print shops across South Africa
  • Operator training, preventive maintenance and production tuning

For some roles, a steady hand and logical thinking matter more than a long list of certificates. For others, experience with colour profiles, queue design and daily maintenance routines is important, especially where production runs must stay orderly and repeatable.

What the job asks for in practice

We look for people who can work neatly, document changes and speak plainly with clients. A good fit usually understands that a dropped setting, a loose connection or a poor profile can affect an entire print run, so careful work matters more than fast guesses.

  • Comfort with technical troubleshooting and step by step checks
  • Clear communication with operators, supervisors and print owners
  • Willingness to work on remote jobs and occasional site visits
  • Respect for colour accuracy, file handling and production schedules
  • Ability to work with local conditions such as humidity near the coast, dust in workshop spaces and load-shedding where mains equipment is in use

People who enjoy practical problem solving often settle in well here. The work is detailed, and sometimes a small setting change makes the diffrence between wasted media and a clean production run.

How the team is set up in Midrand

Our base in Midrand, Gauteng gives us a practical position for support across the country. The team includes Thabo Zungu, with Lerato Khoza handling operations, Johan Letsoalo on senior RIP work, Zanele Moagi on colour workflow, Aiden Phiri on remote support, Kagiso Pienaar on board repair and Bianca Rademeyer on client training.

That mix matters because the work is never only one thing. A client may need a backup restored, a board checked, a queue rebuilt and an operator shown how to keep the next shift steady. The pace can change quickly, especially in print shops handling deadlines for retail, signage and event work.

Training, growth and day to day learning

People joining us can expect to learn from real jobs rather than from theory alone. A junior technician may start with setup checks, colour test prints and basic diagnostics, then move into more detailed board or driver work as confidence grows.

We also value clear handovers. When a shift ends, the next person should know what was adjusted, what still needs attention and what was left stable. That habit reduces confusion and helps keep production moving, especially when multiple printers and media types are in use at the same time.

Applying with a CV through the contact page
